About our blast cabinets
With 34 years of development behind them, our sandblast cabinets were the first products designed and manufactured by Storm Machinery. Blast cabinets are closed looped abrasive blasting systems that allow the operator to recycle the abrasive media. Our cabinets feature free standing extraction systems to filter out the finer dust allowing the operator an unobstructed view of the blasting process.
PRESSURE CABINETS
Pressure blast cabinets feature the power of a pneumatic blast pot contained in an enclosed system eliminating the need for a dedicated blast yard/booth. All cabinets include a 20L certified pressure vessel ideal for aggressive industrial blasting and cleaning. Due to the aggressive nature of pressure blast systems, all internal surfaces of the cabinet are lined with a polyurethane lining to ensure longevity of the system. Pressure blast systems are ideal for use with steel shot and steel grit abrasives.
SUCTION CABINETS
Suction cabinets work on a pneumatic vacuum principle and are ideal for non-aggressive blasting including mould cleaning, etching, frosting, engraving, and crack detection, and polishing. Our suction systems were designed to handle wide a variety of abrasives such as garnet, glass beads, aluminium oxide, slags, organic abrasives and plastic media, ensuring the operator can easily achieve their required surface finish.
