ABOUT OUR SPRAY GUNS
Select from a wide variety of airless & conventional paint guns & hoses that best suit your current application/product. Our airless guns range from 250 – 500 bar. They are ideal for large-scale industrial products.
A conventional paint spray gun, on the other hand, is more suitable for fine-finish applications.
Selection of the correct paint gun is vital for any application.

SELECTING A SPRAY TIP FOR YOUR SPRAY GUN
Spray tips for airless guns as well as needles & nozzles for conventional guns are easily interchangeable for different applications and maintenance. Selection of your spray tip / nozzle is crucial for your paint gun and spray system are essential for a successful application.
Select from a variety of contractors and fine finish spray tips. Different tip sizes offer different spray patterns depending on the requirements of your unique application.
Please refer to your paint data sheet which acts as an “instruction manual” and will indicate what equipment you will need to apply your selected coating. Using the correct equipment will prevent costly down-time and paint wastage
ABOUT OUR PAINT HOSE
Storm Machinery supplies high quality, high pressure paint hose for airless spray systems(cotton & steel braided).
We also supply premium quality, all-purpose paint hose for conventional spray systems (consists of both air and paint hose).
Good quality paint hose is crucial for a safe and efficient spray system.
SPRAY GUN SAFETY
A spray gun operates under extremely high pressure. It is essential that only skilled and trained operators are entrusted with spraying. Please refer to manuals for more operation instructions.
Safeguard operators by using only high quality spray guns and equipment. Setup all equipment as per instruction manual. Make certain that all equipment is cleaned and stored properly. Replace tip guards regularly. Make use of tips guards at all times.
Please also ensure that operators wear the correct PPE for all applications. Storm Machinery offers a variety of paint helmets, masks and suits.
Spray GUN Technique
Please ensure that all operators are sufficiently trained and able to utilize the correct spray technique. Incorrect spray technique can result in multiple coating failures despite the paint quality and equipment used.
Coating failures from poor spray technique can include the following:
- Sagging/running
- Dry spray / overspray
- Orange peel / texture finish
- Pinholes / holidays / solvent popping
- Fisheyes
- Wrinkling
