Equipment Repairs & Servicing
We sell it, we service it. Storm Machinery repairs and services every piece of equipment we supply, using genuine parts and experienced technicians, with branches in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
Keep your equipment working as hard as you do
On a blasting or coating job, every hour of downtime costs money. A worn grit valve, a leaking seal or a tired pump packing can stall a project, waste abrasive and paint, and put your finish quality at risk.
Since 1990, Storm Machinery has supplied South Africa’s blasting and coating industry with equipment we know inside out. That knowledge doesn’t stop at the sale. The same team that supplies your blast pot, cabinet or spray pump is the team that services and repairs it, so you’re dealing with people who understand exactly how it should perform.
Regular servicing catches wear before it becomes a breakdown. It also protects your operators, because safety-critical parts such as deadman’s handles, remote controls and pressurised components need to work properly every single time.
Repairs, servicing and parts under one roof
Repairs & Fault Finding
Something not working as it should? We diagnose the fault, give you a clear quote before any work starts, and get your equipment back in working order.
Preventative Servicing
We strip, clean and inspect your equipment, replace worn parts and test it under working conditions, so small problems don't become big ones.
Genuine spare parts
We carry stock of the parts that wear most, from nozzles, grit valves and pop-up valves to couplings, seals and pump packings, so repairs aren't held up waiting on parts.
Safety & performance testing
Every repaired or serviced unit is tested before it leaves our workshop, including safety-critical controls such as deadman's handles.

FAQs
Do you only repair equipment bought from Storm Machinery?
Yes. We only service and repair the equipment we sell. It’s the equipment our technicians know inside out and the equipment we stock genuine parts for, which is how we can stand behind every repair we do.
How long will my repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 2 to 3 working days. Pressure testing takes 4 to 5 working days. Timing depends on the fault and the parts needed, and we’ll confirm it with your quote.
Will I know the cost before you start?
Yes. We inspect your equipment first and send you a quote. No work is done until you approve it.
Can I drop my equipment at any branch?
Yes, you can drop off at our Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town branch. Please call ahead so we can log your equipment. If you’re based close enough to a branch, we can also arrange collection.
Do you use genuine parts?
Yes. We fit genuine replacement parts, most of which we keep in stock, so your equipment performs as it was designed to.
How often should my equipment be serviced?
It depends on how hard it works. Check wear parts such as nozzles, hoses and seals regularly. Equipment that runs daily or works in harsh conditions will need servicing more often than equipment used occasionally. Not sure what’s right for your setup? Our team will happily recommend a schedule based on how you use your equipment.
Is my repair covered by a warranty?
Yes. Repairs are covered by Storm Machinery’s standard warranty. Our team will gladly explain the cover when they send your quote.
